Villa di Mandola

Navigating your way to this lovely property is a treat for the senses. Set in the green heart of Italy within 70 acres of scenic Umbrian countryside, this country home at the end of a cypress-lined driveway is surrounded by olive groves, grazing sheep, chestnut trees and Roman pines.

Villa di Mandola is a meticulously restored estate: stone fireplaces, terra cotta floors, handcrafted majolica tables and luxurious amenities throughout. Its a prime position, very close to the fascinating cities of Todi and Perugia, perfect for exploring some of Italy's most spectacular towns, cities and countryside.

In the mornings you can wake up to delightful breakfasts of fresh figs, cherries, apricots, peaches and pomegranates picked from the gardens to accompany your breakfast. At lunch, drizzle the estates's own freshly pressed extra virgin olive oil - from its grove of 250 olive trees - over fresh focaccia from one of the nearby villages. From the infinity pool there are spectacular views of the walled village of Piedicolle.

Guests arriving from abroad usually fly into Rome or Florence. It takes approximately 2 hours to drive from either airport to Villa di Mandola. The airport in Perugia (San Edigio) offers regular connections from Milan as well as London/Stansted.
