Nestled within the scenic "Golden Triangle" of Costa Brava, Mas Mateu is a grand 18th-century Spanish villa sitting within a 63 hectares estate. In total, the property can accommodate up to 32 guests across 15 bedrooms, split between the main villa, the Director House and the Guard House. With an extensive range of indoor and outdoor luxury facilities, an infinity swimming pool and over 20,000m² of private gardens, Mas Mateu results the ideal venue for large family getaways, reunion with friends, corporate retreat or any other special celebration.

The estate masterfully retains the elegance and grandeur of its historic origins while integrating modern conveniences and amenities within its walls. As you step inside, the vast open-plan living area offers expansive views across the estate, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that electronically open to blend the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. Here, comofrtable plush sofas are strategically positioned for socialising in with your group while enjoying a break from the sun. On the opposite side, the elegant dining area will host gourmet meals, freshly prepared by the in-house chef in the villa's fully equipped kitchen.

The main highlight of Mas Mateu lies within its extensive outdoor spaces, carefully designed for moments of relaxation and entertainment. The summer pavilion features a summer kitchen housed in an ancient barn, perfect to enjoy Spanish banquets or traditional barbecues under the stars. Alternatively, one of the many open terraces also offer the perfect setting to appreciate meals alfresco. For ultimate tranquillity, wander through the 25,000sqm colourful gardens to completely connect with nature or relax under the shade in one of the villa's outdoor lounge areas.

Mas Mateu features a wide list of rejuvenating wellness facilities to ensure you fully unwind during your luxury villa holiday in Costa Brava. Inside, a spacious cinema room will set the perfect atmosphere for movie nights, while a beautifully appointed second living room complete with a full-size pool table and relaxing sofas will be ideal for indoor parties. Should you wish to dive into the local culture, Mas Mateu also includes a library with an assortment of books, including works about Salvador Dalí.

The main villa at Mas Mateu can accommodate a total of 22 guests across 10 lovely decorated bedrooms, complete of either an en-suite or shared bathroom. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated in delicate Catalan tones, featuring locally sourced rugs, unique family heirlooms, and individual fireplaces. Some bedrooms even open onto private terraces, offering far-reaching views of the surrounding forests and mountains. The property can also accommodate further 6 guests in the Director House featuring an open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace. In addition to this, the Guard House offer extra space for 4 more guests across an open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and two double bedrooms.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the property for up to 25 guests in the main villa on a fully-staffed basis to include the 24/7 services of a private chef, personal butler and housekeeping and dedicated concierge service. Food & drinks and a 10% VAT are charged in addition.

Please Note: The Director House and The Guard House can not be rented independently, but they can only be taken in conjunction with the main villa at an additional cost.

Finally, the villa's team includes 8 maids, who will shift in turns to ensure that the property is well-looked after during your stay, with daily turndown service.
